I read the Poisonwood Bible last summer through a buddy reads thing on Goodreads. It was the perfect book to read with someone else so I could discuss all my thoughts as we went along! The writing was fantastic and the plot was so complex and amazing. It starts off a little strange but stick with it! The Princess and the Goblin is beautiful and when I first read it, I literally had to read everything by George McDonald that I could get my hands on. I Capture the Castle is the only one of Dodie Smith's books I have actually read, but my copy is battered and worn from being read so many times. It has been an inspiration for me in many ways. And then there's Dealing With Dragons, which is the first in a series, and that whole series is one of the funniest and most adorable fantasy series I have ever come across. I have Life of Pi and A Single Shard on my TBR list, for sure.Elisabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11347882946718756761noreply@blogger.com
